Pam Kanaly

When Pam was a little girl, all she wanted to be was a hula dancer, but God had other plans. After an unwanted divorce, God spoke to her in an undeniable way: Pam, one day I will raise you up to speak to thousands of women about what my grace and power can do. Today Pam is one of America’s leading advocates for single mothers.

Pam is a published author and co-founder of Arise Ministries, better known as
Arise Single Moms, a global nonprofit celebrating twenty years of empowering single mothers to create healthy homes. Through their online resources, Arise has reached over a quarter of a million single mothers in every state in the US and over 140 countries. With a passion to equip single moms with biblical tools for handling everyday life, Pam co-founded the regional Thrive single mother conferences.

Having been nominated by former Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, Pam was selected as
National Mother of Achievement in Washington, DC, and honored by the Oklahoma Journal Record as one the Top 50 Women Making a Difference. As a former Bible teacher and national television talk-show cohost, Pam thrives in equipping women to live life with intentional purpose and full-powered joy.

Pam and her husband Rich reside in Edmond, Oklahoma, where she’s Grammy Pammy to nine grandchildren. Pam loves life and it loves her right back. Ask anyone. Her life motto fits her well:
LET – IT – SHINE.
