Mel Hiett is the Project Development Director for Arise Single Moms. She joined the Arise team in the Fall of 2020 after serving sixteen years in the local church as a Student Pastor. Mel was a single mom of two boys for nine years before marrying her husband Trae. Together they have five children, two dogs, and some chickens. Mel is honored to walk alongside single moms in their journey and has a handful of wild stories and God moments to share with all of you. 

Mel speaks regularly to a wide variety of audiences using storytelling and scripture to paint a picture of truth.
