Arise Leader Network

The Arise Leader Network connects and provides resources for individuals and groups leading single moms.

Arise Single Moms is here to join you as you walk alongside single mothers. Single moms are worth the dedication and deserve a safe space. It can look different for each community but they all have one thing in common: They have been created with single mothers in mind.

There are many different ways to create a safe space for single moms and their children.

Host an event for single moms and their children:

  • Mother’s Day Event (Pampering Day, Car Wash, Brunch)
  • Christmas Help
  • Single Mom Social
  • Child Dedication

Start a group for single moms to gather:

  • Support Group
  • Group Study
  • Community Group

Create an ongoing opportunity for single moms:

  • Weekly gathering
  • Single mom ministry

We have found that these spaces are successful when childcare and food are provided. Consider different ways that you can serve the single mother and her family.

I stepped out in faith and started a group for single moms in my church. Our group has become a collective of women who bond together without shame. They no longer have to walk into the church alone because they have each other. I am thankful that Arise has helped me recognize that I am a capable leader and that I am not doing this alone.

I felt alone at my church as a single mom and knew that I couldn’t be the only one. I decided to start a group for single moms and we haven’t looked back since! We meet monthly and have found the most beautiful solidarity as a group that I have ever experienced. I don’t know how I would have been able to navigate this without the support of my church and Arise Single Moms. I learned so much from Arise and other Arise Leaders, all together I am no longer alone.
