Joleen Chaney is an EMMY award winning journalist and has also been honored by the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters for her reporting. She was also part of KFOR-TV’s national EMMY award winning team for coverage of the May 2013 Moore tornado.

Joleen is a sixth generation Oklahoman, born in Fairview and raised in Rush Springs. When Joleen is not reporting the news, you can catch her running or hiking. As a life-long athlete, she participates in and emcees races across the state. In 2011, Joleen completed a half Iron Man triathlon and helped raise several thousand dollars for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Oklahoma. Joleen ran her first full marathon in April 2012, completing the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon.

Joleen was named a member of ionOklahoma Magazine’s “30 under 30 NextGen” inaugural class to honor Oklahomans under the age of 30 for outstanding career achievement. She is an honorary board member of the Children’s Health Foundation and was a celebrity dancer for Dancing for A Miracle that raised more than half a million dollars for children’s healthcare in Oklahoma. Joleen is also a member the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City.
