Breaking the Stereotype “I Am Enough”

“I am enough” is a popular affirmation many women use, but it’s false and can be damaging. The reality of being a human is that we are limited and finite and not capable of being enough in every area of life on our own. Striving to do so often leaves women lonely and drained. “I am enough” sounds empowering at the surface, but it just feeds into our western culture’s value on self and individuality. In this session, we’ll discuss how God calls us to live in community and what that means.

Simi was born in India and moved to Dallas at the age of 7. Simi has a doctorate in physical therapy and married her best friend Jayson in 2010. They have two kids. Together, they pastor New Life Bible Church in Norman, Okla. Simi feels called to equip women to know who they are and live loved! She is a speaker and author of I Am Not: Break Free from Stereotypes & Become the Woman God Made You to Be (available of Amazon).
